“The Contemporary American Farm Woman” In Its Entirety!Posted: January 18, 2011
Wow, this is exciting. The Central New York RC&D, the local organization which runs the Whole Farm Planning for Beginning Women Farmers course, through which I met almost all of the women farmers I interviewed for my senior research project, has published my paper on their site! Aside from providing such a great (free!) resource to local, beginning women farmers (which I will be very soon), it runs a variety of other awesome rural development programs. Check out their website for more information. A special thanks to Phil Metzger and all his help in getting me in touch with the Beginning Women Farmer alumnae.
Read “The Contemporary American Farm Woman: 1860 to present” in its entirety.
In other women farmer news, NPR’s Weekend Edition Sunday featured a story about Women Farmers Growing Strong.
